Something Has DISAPPEARED from a Tom Sawyer Island in Disney World

Another day…another disappearance!

Things can quietly close — sometimes temporarily, sometimes forever — or mysteriously go missing in Disney World. We’ve seen it happen with stores that have suddenly closed, animatronics that have temporarily gone away, and more. And now it’s happened again — this time at a Magic Kingdom attraction!

While we were in Magic Kingdom today, we made our way over to Tom Sawyer Island and noticed that something had gone MISSING.

One part of the island is typically home to a barrel bridge…

…but when we visited on June 30th, the Barrel Bridge area was closed.

Not only that, but the barrel bridge itself had DISAPPEARED!

One Cast Member we spoke to said that the bridge was out for maintenance right now but they were not sure about its return.

We’ll continue to look for updates in this area to see what happens.
