Construction Update on Disney Springs' NEWEST Restaurant

Something is constantly under construction in Disney World, but that was all part of Walt Disney’s plan for the theme parks.

We’ve got a TON of construction going on in EPCOT. A new ride is getting ready to open in Magic Kingdom. PLUS Disney Springs is getting a new restaurant — and we have a progress report on that for you!

That restaurant is Summer House on the Lake. The restaurant is being built on the West Side of Disney Springs, and the last time we checked, it looked like good progress was being made on the site behind its construction walls.

Well, now, even more progress has been made. One of the biggest changes is on the right side of the restaurant — a rooftop has been added to that area.

We can’t wait to see the full project come together!

When it opens, the restaurant will serve up a California-inspired menu led by Chef Ben Goodnick featuring “simple ingredients sourced from local grower partnerships and sustainable products.”
