Disney has been celebrating Halloween since early August, so by the time the holiday actually rolls around, it looks like they might be sick of spooky season!

What do we mean? Well, the company has been sneaking in holiday season offerings in every nook and cranny for the past few weeks, with holiday merchandise online and in the theme parks, announcements for holiday festivals, and now…the FIRST holiday decorations in the parks!
We’re heading out to the west coast for this one, where you can now walk inside Disneyland Park and sing “it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” with total accuracy. What’s going on? Why, there’s snow on the castle!

The first snowy turrets are up on Sleeping Beauty castle, and they’re getting us hyped for all the holiday offerings that are still to come. Only part of the castle has been transformed so far.

We’ll keep watching to see when the other turrets get updated, so stay tuned. And we’re just a few weeks away from the kickoff of the holiday season in Anaheim!

We’ll make sure to keep you updated as more holiday celebrations start here in Disneyland Resort, as well as any additions that come in Walt Disney World. We know that Halloween hasn’t happened yet, but we’re starting to feel a little holly jolly!
I know the fall temperatures have it feeling a *little* chillier today (ahem…70°), but is that SNOW I see on Sleeping Beauty Castle?! ❄️ pic.twitter.com/zFQw0io4Ty

The holidays officially kick off at Disneyland Resort on November 11th, and the festivities will last through January 8th, 2023. That means that we’re just a few days away from seeing more Christmas and holiday decor popping up around Disneyland and California Adventure.
This year, the Festival of Holidays will return, as well as special entertainment offerings like “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade. We can’t wait, it’s going to be SNOW magical!
