NEWS: Disney DELAYS Release Dates for Several Upcoming Movies

If you’re in need of a new Disney movie to watch, there are plenty on the way!

Just in the rest of 2022, we’ll be able to watch the Avatar sequel, Strange World, and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in theaters. The COVID-19 pandemic caused several movies and shows to push back their release dates, and it looks like several new movies are getting their release dates delayed as well.

According to Variety, Disney has delayed a bunch of movie release dates including several Marvel movies. First up, Blade has moved back almost a year from November 3rd, 2023 to September 6th, 2024. This is likely because the director Bassam Tariq recently left the project.

This delay created a ripple in the other Marvel Cinematic Universe movies so Deadpool 3 (which we recently learned will feature Hugh Jackman as Wolverine) has moved from September 6th, 2024 to November 8th, 2024.

Fantastic 4 is moving from November 8th, 2024 to February 14th, 2025 and an untitled Marvel film has been pushed from February 14th, 2025 to November 7th, 2025.

After that, Avengers: Secret Wars is no longer premiering on November 7th, 2025 — the new release date is May 1st, 2026.

And last but not least, another untitled Marvel film that was originally set for May 1st, 2026 has been removed from Disney’s upcoming release calendar.

You may have to wait a while for these new movies, but as we mentioned before, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is coming to theaters soon — you can buy tickets now for its premiere on November 11th, 2022!
