It has FINALLY arrived! The D23 Expo has begun and has been full of big news already.

During a media preview before the event’s official start, we got to see the NEW Walt Disney statue coming to EPCOT, get a look at a massive Te Fiti figure coming to the Moana attraction in EPCOT, and learn about the new Tiana’s Palace restaurant. But now we’ve got even MORE exciting news.
At both Disney World and Disneyland, Splash Mountain will be rethemed to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure — a new ride themed to The Princess and the Frog. We actually got a first look at the ride recently.
But that’s not the only Tiana-themed thing coming. Disneyland will also be getting a Tiana-themed restaurant AND a Tiana-themed store.

The store is actually called Eudora’s Chic Boutique Featuring Tiana’s Gourmet Secrets. Eudora is Tiana’s mom for those who might not remember from the film. According to the story, after Tiana opened her restaurant, she started working to create other community-owned businesses and that’s how Eudora’s store came about.
The new store is set to feature a merchandise line of Tiana’s own spices and sauces. According to Disney, the shop will also feature “accessories to create and serve masterful Orleans-style cuisine and more.”

While the re-themed Splash Mountain rides won’t reopen until 2024, Eudora’s Chic Boutique will open up MUCH sooner. Disney has revealed that the new shop will actually open in just a few days — on September 20th, 2022!
So if you’re hoping to get into the New Orleans spirit and check out merchandise surrounding Tiana’s spices, you’ll want to book those Park Pass reservations for Disneyland ASAP.

We’re covering everything you need to know about the D23 Expo and all of the big news revealed there, so stay tuned for more details.
In the meantime, you can click here to get a look at the reimagined Toontown for Disneyland or see some original Haunted Mansion and movie props that have made their way to the Expo.
