When it comes to meeting characters in Disney World, there are a lot of places you can do it!

You can do it in the parks, like at places such as Princess Fairytale Hall, see them wandering around different areas of the parks like Galaxy’s Edge, or reserve a character dining experience. Sometimes, though, you just happen to be in the right place at the right time, and you stumble across some unscheduled character meet-and-greets.
We were recently visiting Wilderness Lodge when we stumbled across a ton of RARE Disney characters! We saw Mr. Smee from Peter Pan…

…Rafiki from The Lion King…

…Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh…

…Max Goof from A Goofy Movie…

…King Louie from The Jungle Book…

…and even one of the penguins from Mary Poppins!

Whew! It just goes to show you, that you never know when you might stumble across some characters. These were unplanned meet-and-greets, meaning that you would not be able to find them scheduled in the My Disney Experience app, but many of the Disney World meet-and-greets are scheduled and can be found in the app.
