NEWS: BTS Live-Concert and Series Coming to Disney+

Disney+ has been a tremendous success since its launch in 2019.

The platform has had a 33% increase in subscribers over the past year, and it’s not too hard to see why, with hits like Obi-Wan Kenobi, Moon Knight, and WandaVision. But Disney just announced a new series of shows…and they may be their most successful yet.

It’s hard to believe that Disney+ could top the success they’ve seen with shows like Obi-Wan Kenobi, which is the most-watched Disney+ original series premiere to date. But Disney’s upcoming series of shows follow a group that may just break that record.

According to CNN, Disney+ will premiere new original shows featuring members of the South Korean pop group, BTS. Yes — that BTS. The series will have 5 titles, with at least 2 featuring the entire band — including a taped concert special in Los Angeles, and a behind-the-scenes documentary series (expected to debut next year).

Another title will be a reality show featuring V, one of the stars, on vacation with other celebrities.

If anyone could break a record on Disney+, it could be BTS. We’ll bring you more information on these titles when additional details are released!
