Disney World is no stranger to severe weather. It IS in Florida, after all!

From rain to storms to even hurricanes, Florida weather can be quite unpredictable. But if you’re in Disney World today, you might want to grab a poncho or start heading indoors!
According to Meteorologist Eric Burris of WESH2, two of the counties in which Disney World is located (Orange and Osceola) are under a Severe Thunderstorm Warning until 12:45PM ET. This storm is predicted to have 60 miles per hour wind gusts and hail.

According to the WESH2 Weather, they recommend heading indoors and also warn that there could be damage to “roofs, siding, and trees” as a result of this storm. Many outdoor rides close in Disney World during stormy weather, so you might want to keep an eye on the My Disney Experience app.

I was there today, a lot of attractions to take cover. Still had fun but disney needs to sell those plastic covers for shoes, they would make a killing.. wet feet are the worst.
