Earlier this year, Disney World opened up an exclusive exhibit in EPCOT’s American Adventure Pavilion called “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure.”

This exhibit is inspired by Pixar’s Soul (which was released last year on Disney+) and takes guests on a “tour” through the cities where the jazz movement exploded. And, soon Disney World won’t be the only place to see the exhibit!
Disney just announced that “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” will be coming to THREE different museums across the country over the next six months. Locations will include The New Orleans Jazz Museum in New Orleans, the American Jazz Museum in Kansas City, and the National Jazz Museum in Harlem.

Each installment will be unique and feature a “collection of artifacts curated by local museums,” two sculptures of the Soul characters Joe Gardner and Dorothea Williams, and an opportunity to snap a photo “with Joe and the band.” Plus, you’ll be able to use the Play Disney Parks mobile app in the museum to interact with the exhibit!

“The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” will first head to the New Orleans Jazz Museum in New Orleans on October 26th, making its way to American Jazz Museum in Kansas City, Missouri on December 10th, and then the National Jazz Museum in New York City in February 2022.

We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more opportunities to experience Disney in your hometown, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
