PHOTOS: NEW Disney World 50th Anniversary Hotel Room Keys Arrive!

Who else is READY for Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration? After talking about the festivities for the past several months, the big week has finally arrived! Whether you choose to visit Disney World this week or not, the excitement can be felt all around the country!

Lots of fans are likely getting ready to check into their Disney World Resort hotel this week to take part in the big anniversary on October 1st! If you receive a traditional room key during your stay, you’ll notice a brand-new design has debuted!

Reader @jimmy_farring sent us some awesome photos of the NEW room keys used at Disney World’s Resort hotels for the 50th Anniversary Celebration! Take a look:

The room key has the same EARidescent design we’ve been seeing pop up in some of the 50th Anniversary merchandise as well as the new outfits Mickey and the gang will sport throughout the celebration!

These new room keys may include other characters in addition to Mickey Mouse — we’ll be on the lookout for more designs!

In addition to more of these adorable room keys, we’ll be covering all of the exciting events this week as Disney World officially turns the big 5-0 and the eighteen month-long celebration begins! Be sure to follow along so you can stay up-to-date on all of the festivities.
