While Disney World makes huge strides to provide their guests with a magical experience, every once in a while things don’t go quite according to plan.

Our friends at Disney Food Blog reported that an incident has taken place at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge which resulted in guests needing to evacuate.
According to DFB, fire alarms went off at Copper Creek Villas around 2:45AM this morning. But this wasn’t the first time the alarms had gone off this week.

For the past three days, guests have reported that the fire alarms had gone off: at 2PM the first day, 9AM the second day, and 2AM on the third day.

At this time, there is no known cause for the fire alarms going off. We’ll be on the lookout for more information and we will share any additional news with you as we hear about it!

Surely WDW has security cameras in all the common areas. If this was a prankster, they would have been discovered. I expect that the alarms are the result of a technical problem. A 2AM alarm would not make for a good night’s sleep or a very magical next day.
