Does anyone else feel like it’s been too long since Baby Yoda was making a weekly appearance on our screen?

Well, not every Star Wars show coming to Disney+ will feature the little green Jedi, but there are still some exciting series to come! And, we’ve got another update on a project that many Star Wars fans are looking forward to!
According to Variety, Maya Erskine has been cast in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series on Disney+. Disney has yet to announce what her role in the show will be, but you might recognize her from the Hulu comedy series “PEN15” that she co-created and co-starred in.

Erskine will join the cast that has previously been announced, including Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen who will both be reprising their roles of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader respectively.

The new series was announced last year at Disney’s Investors Day and production began just last month. The story will pick up 10 years after Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith and follow Kenobi on new adventures.

We can’t wait to see what’s next for the Jedi master, and, in the meantime, Star Wars fans can look forward to the next series coming to Disney+ this summer — The Bad Batch. As always, stay tuned for more Disney news and updates!
