There are a LOT of new Marvel shows coming soon to Disney+ (hello, Loki!), but of course, we’re totally excited for She-Hulk!
We’ve already gotten some HUGE casting news for this new show, including the fact that Tatiana Maslany will star as the titular character “She-Hulk” (a.k.a. Jennifer Walters) and that Mark Ruffalo will be back as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. We also know Ginger Gonzaga will play heroine Jennifer Walters’ best friend. Today, another star has been added to the project!
According to Deadline, Renée Elise Goldsberry has joined the cast! If you’re a Disney+ fan, you may already be familiar with Goldsberry for her role as Angelica Schuyler in Hamilton. If you somehow haven’t seen Hamilton, you may also recognize Goldsberry from her roles in Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist, One Life to Live, or the Netflix show Altered Carbon. She also has stage credits that include Rent, The Color Purple, and The Lion King!
She’s reportedly set to play a character named “Amelia,” but further information about her role in the new TV show has yet to be revealed.
