Here’s ALL The Marvel Announcements You May Have Missed!

Yesterday’s Disney Investor Day webcast was a whirlwind of news, particularly for new Marvel projects.

Not only did we get trailers for four upcoming Marvel series, but we also got a lot of Marvel TV and movie news. But some of that news might have fallen through the cracks, so here’s what you might have missed.

Release Dates

Marvel finally gave fairly solid release dates for many of its upcoming Phase 4 projects. We already knew that WandaVision would premiere on January 15th, and Black Widow would land in theaters on May 7th, but other dates announced were:

  • The Falcon and Winter Soldier: March 19th, 2021
  • Loki: May 2021
  • Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings: July 9th, 2021
  • What If? Summer 2021
  • Ms. Marvel: Fall/Winter 2021
  • The Eternals: November 5th, 2021

She-Hulk

Disney confirmed that Orphan Black’s Tatiana Maslany would take on the title role in the She-Hulk series and that both Tim Roth and Mark Ruffalo (Hulk!) would be a part of the show.

WandaVision

Not only did we get a wacky trailer for WandaVision, but we also learned that Teyonah Parris will portray a grown-up version of Captain Marvel’s Monica Rambeau. Kat Dennings is reprising her Thor role as Darcy Lewis. And Randall Park is reprising his role as Jimmy Woo from the Ant-Man movies.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania

Although the title of the third Ant-Man movie is a mouthful, there was a surprise announcement about Lovecraft Country’s Jonathan Majors playing Kang the Conqueror.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness

Not only did Disney confirm that Rachel McAdams would return to the second Doctor Strange film as Dr. Christine Palmer, but they also confirmed that the film would introduce Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, aka Miss America.

Thor: Love and Thunder

Academy Award winner and former Batman (and NewsieChristian Bale will be joining the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder as the villain Gorr the God Butcher.
