While The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series might’ve been delayed at Disney+, there’s still plenty of Marvel in the streaming service’s future!
In 2019 at the D23 Expo, Disney first announced a new She-Hulk series would be coming to the streaming service. And now, we have more details on who may be taking on the lead role!
The show will focus on Bruce Banner’s cousin, Jennifer Walters, who receives a blood transfusion from him, which gives her his Hulk powers. Unlike Bruce, though, she retains more control over herself in her Hulk persona.
Maslany is best known for her starring role on BBC America’s Orphan Black. That portrayal earned her several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations, as well as the 2016 Emmy for Best Actress in a Drama Series. She also recently appeared in the HBO series Perry Mason.
While She-Hulk isn’t set to premiere until 2022, later this year MArvel fans will be able to tune in to WandaVision on Disney+! In the mean time, we’ll keep you updated on any more Marvel and Disney+ news as it comes in.
