Disney Junior Play ‘n’ Dine is BACK for breakfast at Hollywood & Vine!

This restaurant in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is known for its character meals, and it first reopened last fall, only serving lunch and dinner. Now, the breakfast character meal with Disney Junior pals has returned, and we checked it out this morning!
Atmosphere
Inside the restaurant, there’s a great photo-op for you to snap a pic with. It features all four characters, so you can pick your favorite!

When we dined this morning, parties were spread out around the restaurant and plexiglass was across the tops of the booths to keep guests safe.

Our waiters and waitresses were wearing face shields and face masks. Here’s a glimpse of what the restaurant looked like as a whole.

It’s pretty wide open and spaced out, which is great for those distanced character interactions!
Food
For the first course of our meal, we were given a Pastry Basket, filled with delicious baked goods!

Inside, we found Caramel Monkey Bread, Croissants, and Mini Muffins. There’s breakfast bread for everyone!

The basket also came with a side of honey butter, which we think is a pretty genius move. Breakfast pastries, butter, and honey? That’s a match made in heaven.

For our meal, we had the choice of six different options and we chose the Hazelnut Spread-stuffed French Toast. It comes with hazelnut spread, bananas, and caramel bananas foster syrup served with a side of bacon or country sausage.

For the meal, you’ll pay $42 per adult plus tax and gratuity, and $27 per child.Â
Characters
Throughout our meal, we got to say hello to four different Disney Junior pals. First up to greet us was Vampirina!

We also waved to Doc McStuffins! You don’t get to hug the characters like you used to, but they get close enough to your table to interact one-on-one.

We also saw the snazziest gal around, Fancy Nancy! She was ready to strike some poses for the camera.

And Mickey’s pal Goofy made a visit, too. What a line-up of Disney Junior friends!

If you’ve got young kids, they’ll likely love getting to see some of their favorites from the TV shows they watch back home. This could be a great way to start your day in Hollywood Studios!
All in all, we had a great time at our meal this morning and really enjoyed our food! If you’ve got young children who love these characters, take a look at Hollywood & Vine for a fun breakfast option!
