The dinosaur is out of the bag — VelociCoaster is opening NEXT SUMMER!

After waiting for Universal Orlando’s official announcement with bated breath, we were SO excited to find out that the VelociCoaster would let guests “ride alongside raptors.” Even though Universal has given fans sass and a bit of the run-around about the attraction, we can’t help but feel some kind of way seeing the construction progress happening in the parks!
As @bioreconstruct has been hopping around Jurassic Park, they’ve been able to get an up-close look at everything happening with the Jurassic World VelociCoaster! You can see the launch area that guests will take a high-speed exit from…

…as they blast off towards the initial twists and turns of the track.

During the attraction, the ride will go through different rock work sections that have been taking shape recently.

However, scaffolding has frequently been blocking views of where the track would pass through rocks. Since Universal has continued to push forward with progress on the coaster, the construction walls surrounding some of these rock work sections have started to come down. And, we are HYPED to see that view of the AWESOME track we can expect to ride next summer.

We cannot wait to see the VelociCoaster in its fully completed state (and to ride it, of course). But, in the meantime, we’ll be sure to keep taking a look at everything happening over at the attraction!
