7. Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster

“This is a great family coaster! The Buckbeak animatronic at the beginning of the ride is so cool! You get a nice view of Hogsmeade & the Hogwarts Castle when riding this ride! This ride is very short though.”

“I would rate this a 10 for children but an overall 7 for adults! It’s worth it just to see Buckbeak if you’re a fan of Harry Potter! It’s usually a short wait so I would say that you might as well try it. However, if it’s longer than 15-20 minutes and you don’t have children or you aren’t a Harry Potter fan, I would skip it. It’s definitely interesting, you’re basically flying around in a wicker basket!”

This ride spins and dives you right into the action with all of the (very realistic-looking) favorite characters right by your side to ensure you escape safely. This ride is not only incredible with the 3D effects, but also the ride vehicles themselves! A must-do.”

“Best ride in the Harry Potter land! Full of Easter eggs and characters/plot points from the stories. The vehicle is comfortable and allows your party to sit together. The graphics and 3D elements are incredible and really put in you the middle of the action.”

“This ride is roller coaster royalty. If you are a coaster lover, this ride will not disappoint. Pick your song, or for more fun, have a team member set a random one for you, hold on to the shoulder bars, and try not to freak out because you’ve slid back in your seat on the way up. Make sure to keep the back of your head firmly glued to the back of your seat because this coaster can get rickety. My suggestion for song is Pump It by the Black Eyed Peas.”

“Amazing roller coaster that rivals even the Incredible Hulk coaster. It’s fast and high energy. The music choices are good but could use an update. It does not go upside down so it’s a great coaster for adults that might not want to go upside down.”

“This coaster is a fast paced good time where you get to pick your music! You can choose from multiple different genres and songs as you board your ride vehicle, so you control your experience to a degree, which is a unique mechanic you can’t find anywhere else. There is even a “secret menu” of songs – you can look up how to get to it on the internet, or even ask a team member and they may be able to get you there! It isn’t a super long attraction (a little over 90 seconds), so you don’t get to listen to the whole song, but I’ve never felt cheated on the length of the coaster; it feels longer than it actually is. Just a heads up – you do have to go through a metal detector in the queue, so a locker (or a person in your party who isn’t riding) is a must!”

“Great actual coaster. The initial launch out of the tunnel with the hulk roar is amazing. The ride seems a lot smoother after the refurbishment was done. I prefer the coaster harness system that goes over the shoulder like on this ride. Goes upside down, twists/turns, loops- everything you would want in a coaster!”

“It’s a good rollercoaster but the low rating for me is based on seat size, which is not plus size friendly and it bangs my head around. Now the banging my head around has somehow improved in recent years but this is not a must ride. Just not the most comfortable.”

“One of my favorite coasters! The lift hill that (spoiler alert!) launches you is my favorite part. It’s such a fun rollercoaster. Even if you’re not a coaster lover, go on it! I forced my terrified husband on it and now it’s one of his favorite rides.”
