On our recent trips to Universal Orlando Resort, we have been keeping a watchful eye on a not-so-secret Velocicoaster construction project happening over in Jurassic Park at Islands of Adventure. And from the aerial photos that have emerged in recent days, it looks like progress is continuing!
Although Universal has STILL yet to announce the name and opening date of the coaster (although it’s pretty obvious, at least in terms of WHAT they’re working on), they seem to be very much aware of the curiosity surrounding the upcoming attraction.
Universal Orlando Resort took to social media to let ALL of us know that they are fully aware of the fan speculations!
Everyone: What are you building over there?
Us: Don't be suspicious, don't be suspicious.— Universal Orlando Resort (@UniversalORL) August 25, 2020
Those of you who are familiar with the video app TikTok may know about the popular “Don’t be suspicious” audio frequently used in scenarios where someone may or may not have been caught red-handed! It looks like Universal turned their sass meter to full throttle!
Regardless of why Universal is choosing to keep this very apparent roller coaster “under wraps” for as long as possible, we are nevertheless excited to have a new ride to check out soon! We see you, Universal. We see you.
Have you been to Universal Orlando Resort since they reopened their theme parks in early June? Let us know in the comments!Â
