Although we’ve loved relaxing at home to watch movies with our dogs and snacks, we have missed heading to the theaters to catch a flick or two.

While AMC theaters have postponed their reopening multiple times, films have also been delaying their releases (and Mulan will be coming to Disney+ next month).

However, it looks like a movie theater HAS reopened…but not in the way you think it would! Since there aren’t any new movies that have been released recently, Universal Cinemark reopened in July with Comeback Classics on the weekends! The theater throwing things back with a whole line-up of oldies (but goodies) playing on the big screen!

Universal Cinemark is showing $5 Comeback Classics (with $3 per child) at the theater on CityWalk on Fridays through Sundays from 1PM until 8PM.

Although we’ve been snacking our way through the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, you can also watch the first 5 Harry Potter films on the big screen again (!!!). But, you can also watch another band of friends in The Goonies or creatures (that Hagrid probably would still love) in Gremlins!

You can also watch classics like Jurassic Park and the Three Amigos!, along with Spaceballs and Jaws (or you can just watch a bunch of movies back to back).

While we are totally happy to be able to chill out with a big popcorn and soda, we are also thrilled to watch some of our FAVORITE movies at the movies!
