This Closure Could Change Your Snacking in Disney World!

There has been closure after closure in Disney World recently, as they prepare for all of the new upcoming projects, like the Tropical Americas expansion or  Piston Peak, currently under construction.

And we think we just found a Magic Kingdom staple that might be closing soon, so let’s dive into everything we know and what’s gonna happen to our beloved Mickey-shaped Bacon-Pecan-Caramel Cinnamon Roll.

Recently, we’ve been seeing some Frontierland changes as the highly anticipated Piston Peak is under construction. The Big Al’s shop recently closed, and with the opening of the updated Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, we have gotten a little sneak peek at just how much construction is currently underway.

However, there are rumors that another Frontierland favorite will be closing soon. It is rumored that Westward Ho will be closing on June 22nd, 2026. While Disney has not officially confirmed this closure, there are no more times showing up as of June 23rd, and this is the same pattern we saw with the closing of Big Al’s.

Another sign that points to a potential closure is that the Candied Bacon Skewer is now available at Golden Oak Outpost. However, the Mickey-shaped Bacon-Pecan-Caramel Cinnamon Roll has yet to be placed in a new home.

This closure could also mean that our favorite mini corn dogs will once again be available only at Casey’s Corner. We will make sure to let you know any developments on the Westward Ho closure and if any other snacks get new Magic Kingdom homes, but until then, stop by Westward Ho to grab your favorite treats before it closes.
