We're BACK at This Disney World Restaurant for the First Time in SIX YEARS!

It’s finally time! After six years, we’re getting the chance to step into The Garden View Lounge in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort for their Tea Experience again, and we’re ecstatic.

The Tea Experience has been revised since we last experienced it, as the lounge itself has been refurbished, and the Tea Experience has an Alice in Wonderland theme. Come with us to experience this beloved meal at 10 AM tomorrow!

That’s right! We recorded our whole first experience back at the Tea Experience, and now, you can be one of the first to see it at 10 AM tomorrow on our YouTube channel! Not only will you see the new video release, but you’ll also get the chance to talk with fellow AllEars viewers and some members of the team in the live YouTube premiere chat.

What’s so special about The Garden View Lounge? Well, this spot closed with the rest of Disney World in 2020, but while most other experiences and restaurants have reopened over the years, the lounge, along with the Tea Experience, is one of the final experiences to reopen.

For many years, there wasn’t any tea experience in the entirety of Disney World, but when The Cake Bake Shop opened at Disney’s BoardWalk in 2023, it finally added a new tea time experience for guests to enjoy. It’s expensive, yes, but now that the Garden View Tea Experience is back open, there’s now more than one option available.

The new menu at this spot is, again, inspired by Alice in Wonderland. It includes numerous teas to please various palates, as well as tea-based cocktails, three different tiers of food, and there’s even a Children’s Afternoon Tea! Reservations for this spot are VERY hard to come by, so if you’ve got a trip coming up, we recommend booking a reservation 60 days in advance, right at 7 AM.
