I don’t think anyone enjoys waiting in line at Disney World. Yes, some of the queues are beautifully designed, and I could probably play in them for a fair amount of time (looking at you, Haunted Mansion and Peter Pan’s Flight), but I also want to get through as quickly as possible and ride my favorite attraction.

One way to skip the line at Disney World is with Lightning Lanes, Disney’s paid skip-the-line service. We’re breaking down all the prices for February to see if it’s worth it to purchase them during your trip.
Let’s get a quick overview of the different kinds of Lightning Lanes at Disney World.
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is most similar to older Fast Pass systems and is the most traditional form of Lightning Lane. You’ll prebook up to three attractions at a time, and once you scan in at the ride, you can book your next one. For this, popular attractions can fill up, and you might not be able to ride as many popular attractions as you think.

Lightning Lane Single Pass allows you to buy a pass for one attraction, where you can ride it once. These attractions are not included with Multi Pass. It’s only for the most popular attractions of the parks, which include:
-
- Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
- TRON Lightcycle / Run
- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind
- Rise of the Resistance
- Avatar: Flight of Passage

Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the ultimate Lightning Lane pass, where you can go on any ride without prebooking. You simply show up to the Lightning Lane entrance, scan your pass, and you’re on your way. This is the most expensive of all the passes.

Now that we know what we’re talking about, let’sdiscuss when you shouldn’t buy Lightning Lanes (aka when they’re most expensive). Lightning Lane prices are based on when Disney is expecting larger crowds. More people in line = more demand to skip the line. Because of this, you might actually WANT to purchase Lightning Lanes when they’re the most expensive, since without them, you’lllikely be waiting in longer lines than usual.

For February 2026, the highest prices for each Lightning Lane are:
-
- Multi Pass Magic Kingdom — $42
- Multi Pass EPCOT — $35
- Multi Pass Hollywood Studios — $37
