This Animal Kingdom Restaurant Is Reopening Sooner Than Expected!

It looks like Harambe Market in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is reopening sooner than initially expected! Originally, the Disney World website showed that this quick-service location would reopen on March 1st, 2026, but the website has been updated.

Harambe Market

Earlier this week, Disney revealed the full menu for Harambe Market, replacing the bowls with cheeseburgers, chicken strips, a Savanna salad, and the Harissa Chicken Wrap. Now, we will be able to try the new menu in less than a month!

Harambe Market is now showing hours starting February 5th, so it looks like it will open almost a month sooner than the website initially showed. The hours for February 5th are currently listed as 10:30 AM through 4:30 PM.

Harambe Market Menu in 2025

Harambe Market has been closed since October 20th, 2025, for refurbishment. Of course, we will be stopping by to see if there are any changes and to try some of the new menu items. It is a bit sad to see the bowls being replaced by cheesburgers and chicken strips, but there are still some more unique items on the menu, like the Savanna Salad, Harissa Chicken Wrap (which was previously offered at Kusafiri), and Kubwa Cookie.

If you are missing the old bowls you could grab at Harambe Market, like the Chicken and Rice Bowl or the Beef and Rice Bowl, head over to Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery. You can grab bowls and a variety of sweet treats at this quick-service window.
