Everyone loves a good Disney World souvenir, but we can probably all agree that we don’t always love the prices. But did you know there are some Disney “souvenirs” you can buy online before you even get to the parks?
The best part is? They’re often CHEAPER than the prices you’d pay when you’re actually at Disney World, and most of the time, they’re the exact same (and in some cases, better!). We’ve done the research, and here’s what we found.
The FuelRod MAX10 portable charger costs $80 when purchased at any FuelRod kiosk in Disney World, but you can save $5 when you buy it online.
The FuelRod MAX10 comes fully charged, complete with adapters and cables for most smart devices. Easily swap for a fresh, fully charged unit at any FuelRod Kiosk nationwide. Rechargeable via USB-C, it fits comfortably in your pocket, making it an ideal companion for any Disney World trip or staying charged on the go!
The regular FuelRod kit will run you $40 at Disney World, but it only comes with one FuelRod. Online, you’ll pay $45, but you’ll get the full kit AND a second FuelRod charger. More bang for basically the same buck!
FuelRod is still the sleek and compact portable charger that allows you to recharge your mobile devices while on the go. It’s sleeker than the MAX10 design, and while it may not have as much power (2,600 mAh), they’re lighter and easier to throw into any park bag, no matter how small.
Yes, it rains, even at Disney World (especially at Disney World!). Buying an uncomfortable plastic poncho in the parks is $12.99 for adults and $10.99 for kids. Our favorite reusable poncho is just $12.99 online and will last you much longer than the flimsy ones you’ll find at Disney World.
The Frogg Toggs Ultra Lite 2 Poncho is SO comfortable. It’s constructed with an outer layer that provides waterproof and breathable protection and an inner layer that remains soft next to skin, and it also comes with a convenient carrying case that’s small enough to fit into most park bags.
We also like this clear poncho, which allows you to still show off your outfit — even in the rain. This one comes in a set of two for under $10!
The adult rain poncho is extremely lightweight and can be easily folded up to carry in a purse, backpack, or luggage, but it doesn’t come with a carrying case. We do love the drawstring hood and that it’s made of eco-friendly EVA material with no smell.
If you’re more of an umbrella person and get caught in the rain at Disney World, you’ll be spending at least $17.99 to stay dry. Our favorite mini travel umbrella is only $14 online and comes with a convenient case!
The inside layer is made from black fabric, which reflects most UV rays. The black coating underside of the canopy absorbs any remaining UV rays, giving an overall UPF rating of 50+ — perfect for the rain AND the sun!
If you forget your sunscreen when you’re at Disney World, you can find it for sale at several merchandise shops — but it’ll cost you around $14. This SunBum lotion is SPF 70 and is around $12 online. Not a huge savings, but things really add up!

Disney World has started selling cooling towels for those overwhelmingly hot days, but they’re a whopping $22.99. If you don’t care about the Mickey Mouse branding, consider buying them online before you get to the parks! Our favorites come in a set of FOUR for just $11!
The towel stays chilled for up to 3 hours (depending on conditions). It’s perfect for hot flashes, outdoor activities, indoor exercise, fever or headache therapy, heatstroke prevention, sunscreen protection, and cooling when you’re SO hot in the parks.
Looking for character autographs? Autograph books typically cost around $13 at Disney World, but you can often find them online for under $10 — like this one!
It’s essentially the same as what you’d find in the park, and this one also comes with a Mickey Mouse pen. Trust us, your kiddo won’t even know the difference, and you’ll be saving money!
Bubble wands can be exorbitantly expensive in the parks, often costing anywhere from $35 to $40, depending on the design. You can find them online for much cheaper — like this one, for around $20 instead!
This one comes in multiple character designs, including Moana, Tiana, Minnie Mouse, and more, and even comes with extra bubble solution so you won’t have to shell out for more of that in the parks, either.
