OPENING DATE and Name Revealed for NEW Bar Coming to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

The lobby at Disney’s Grand Floridian has been a construction zone for months, but it was all for a reason!

The mysterious new bird cage bar that we had only seen in concept art now has a name and an opening date — it’s sooner than you think!

On November 10th, you will officially be able to visit The Perch, a new bar in the lobby of one of Disney World’s most iconic hotels.

Disney revealed the bar will serve two signature cocktails — the Sunshine State Rum Sazerac and the Floridian 75 — as well as champagne, wine, and beer. There’s even a non-alcoholic option in the Blueberry and Basil Iced Tea, which is made with lemon, blueberry, and basil tea.

The bar, along with a huge lobby refresh, was announced in April earlier this year, so it’s exciting to see everything come to life! As a reminder, Disney previously announced that the Grand Floridian will NOT have its iconic gingerbread house for this year’s holiday season due to all of the changes.

That’s not all! Disney has announced that the Garden View Lounge is returning in 2026! This spot has been closed since 2020, but Disney is bringing it back to life in the new year. They haven’t announced much except that a brand new tea experience is coming when it opens. We’ll let you know as soon as we learn more!
