It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays around Epic Universe and we’re getting our first look at how one of the portals are decorating.

Epic Universe at Universal Orlando is about to celebrate one of its biggest milestones since opening earlier this year — its first holiday season! While we’ve seen Universal deck out the other parks in their festive garland and decor, there’s been a lot left up to speculation as to how (and when) Epic Universe will start decorating for the upcoming season. And if you’re planning a visit soon, you’ll be among some of the first to witness its arrival as Epic Universe hauls out the holly (and other decorations) for the holidays.
One of our favorite places to be in Universal for the holidays is their various Wizarding Worlds. Stepping into a world told through storybook pages with characters, adventures, and yes, even decor that might not look like the everyday we know in our own lives can make us feel like we’ve been transported to another time and place altogether.

Over the years, we’ve grown accustomed to looking for the inconspicuous feathery garland and twinkling lights hung over doors, entryways to storefronts, and windows around Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, but there’s now a third Wizarding World in need of holiday decor for the upcoming season.

Until now, we could only speculate how Epic Universe might begin decorating for the holidays, but now we finally have a few items to feast our eyes on! The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — The Ministry of Magic has already begun decorating for its very first holiday season. We’ve spotted wreaths, garland, and tiny Christmas lights hung around the world’s windows, doorways, and more.

If you look closely, almost every inch of the world’s buildings, including its ride’s entrance…

…and casual dining restaurants are decorated to some degree.

Even K. Rammelle’s couldn’t pass up an opportunity to get into the holiday spirit a little early!

And if you look closely, you’ll notice even more decor hung at an easier eye-level. We spotted these golden wreaths hung on the glass panes of this door, and they’re remarkable!

The next time you find yourself roaming the streets of Wizarding World Paris, take some time out to stop for a moment and look all around you. You might find yourself drawing a more festive mood, marveling at the sights we’re already able to spot.

We’re sure this is just the start of what’s to come for Epic Universe’s very first holiday season in its new Wizarding World and beyond its own portal. But don’t worry — we’ll be out to show it all off as it arrives and get into full swing!
