REVIEW: We’re Still RAVING About This Disney World Limited-Time Dish 24 Hours Later

Halloween at Disney World is upon us, and while we’ve had our fair share of fun out in the parks, there’s one more place we’re telling you to scope out while you’re enjoying the Fall festivities!

Disney Springs is a hidden GEM when it comes to finding fun and unique Halloween things to do while at Disney World, and if your tummy starts acting a bit scary while you’re out shopping and experiencing it all, there’s a brand new menu lineup you’ve got to try out!

We recently stopped by eet by Maneet Chauhan to scope out their newest menu offering, ushering in the spooky season, and we’ll be the first to tell you it DIDN’T disappoint!

eet by Maneet Chauhan is one of those cozier restaurants you’ll find inside Disney Springs’ Marketplace (nearby one of the entrances from the ride share side), but believe us when we say this place knows how to pack in the flavor!

Regular menu

They’re known for their crafty creations of naan bread and seasoned spices, which combine to create dishes and drinks that your taste buds will come to crave for weeks after you’ve dined here. If you haven’t already added it to your plans while visiting this Fall, you’ll be springing to fit it in after you see their new limited-time menu offerings for Halloween!

Spooky menu and a monster drink!

You should know us by now, and if we’re going to do something, we’re going ALL OUT (food science, right?) So we opted to order EVERYTHING that’s new. Starting with the Monster Mash-Tini for $15.95. This fun drink is made of a frozen green apple martini mixed with green apple vodka and an added caramel drizzle. It will also come topped with a not-so-spooky toy monster of your choosing when you order.

Monster Mash-Tini

This drink was so fun, and the fact that we had a hand in customizing its look went even further for us. If you ask nicely, your server at the counter may allow you to choose your (plastic) cup’s color and your monster haunting your drink. As for how it tastes, it’s just as it’s billed. It’s spot on for a frozen sweet, green apple martini drink with subtle hints of caramel. You almost can’t tell the added vodka to it unless you’re really looking for it.

He’s just chillin’ in there…literally

Overall, this was a fun drink that leaned more to the sweeter side than the sour taste of a green apple, which we’d order again in a heartbeat!

Then it was time to turn our attention to the Monster Mein for $14.95! This creature feature is made with lo mein noodles, crisp green peas, carrots, fiery lava garlic, and umami sauce. We decided to add chicken to ours, which will cost you an extra $6.95.

Monster Mein with chicken

Now, when we ordered this, the Cast Member at the counter tried her best to warn us that the garlic has quite the kick to it — and y’all, she wasn’t JOKING! But it made this dish soooo good. While it set our taste buds ablaze in terms of heat, we’ve never loved it more than when we were scooping in bites of this lo mein creation.

Just the noodles

The addition of the veggies gave it some extra texture, but didn’t really add too much to the overall flavor. However, we highly recommend pairing the chicken with this one because it helps immensely in cutting down the heat that would have been in full force without it. The chicken meat was seasoned with Indian-spices and was perfectly tender and juicy inside.

A bite with chicken

Honestly, that might have been our favorite of the dishes until we tasted the Enchanted Noodles! We picked this beast up for $14.95 and have been pining over it ever since our last bite.

Enchanted Noodles

It’s made with lo mein noodles, crisp green peas, carrots, and an enchanting umami glaze. You can also opt to add chicken to this one for an additional $6.95 if you prefer (but we found ours to be perfectly fine without it). ‘Ohana noodles BEWARE — you’ve got some STIFF competition with this dish. Honestly, if you hadn’t told us these lo-mein noodles were cooked in umami glaze, we could have sworn it was reminiscent of a sweet terriyaki glaze similar to what ‘Ohana cooks their noodles in.

Take a bite

In this dish, we could taste the veggies a bit more, but again, they mostly helped out with the texture, and the enchanted umami glaze was so plentiful it was more like a soup towards the bottom of the bowl (which we didn’t mind at all). It also came with a few spices sprinkled around the rim of the bowl, which we were able to knock into our bowl at our leisure and enjoy. This dish was a perfect ending to a scary good meal at eet by Maneet Chauhan!

October limited-time menu

If you’re not a fan of spicy dishes, you’ll probably want to spring from the Enchanted Noodles over the Monster Mein, but don’t say we didn’t warn you about how spicy this dish can be! We loved our meal so much here and can’t wait to see what they come up with next for their seasonal offerings as we move into the holidays.
