I’m a Professional Disney Adult and I’m Predicting the 5 Biggest Disney World Trends of 2026

2026 is right around the corner, and while many people may not think it, you can get a good look at some of the most popular trends coming in the next year by looking at what’s popped up in Disney World.

Magic Kingdom

Disney is often ahead on trends too, especially when they’re clothing trends. When they saw Crocs coming back in style, they partnered up and have started selling tons of pairs in their shops and online. With that being said, walking around Disney World can give you a good idea of what trends may start to pop up in the coming months. Based on what we’ve seen in the parks a bit recently, as well as what we’ve begun seeing outside of Disney that we could TOTALLY see them capitalizing on, here’s are the trends we’re expecting to see arrive in the parks in 2026.

The Takeover of Labubus

You’ve likely seen them around your hometown recently — the small, scary-looking dolls that tons of people of all ages (but especially middle schoolers, young adults, and Gen Z) have on their bags, in their lockers, cars, etc. — Labubus are taking the world by storm, and it’s only a matter of time before we see Disney capitalize on it.

We’ve already seen them try to jump onto the trend a little bit, but considering they don’t appear to be going away any time soon, we wouldn’t be surprised to see a whole line of Labubus (or labubu-type dolls) arrive in Disney parks and online in the early part of 2026.

Knowing Disney, they’ll probably be pretty crazy expensive, ESPECIALLY if they’re able to partner directly with the Labubu company. If you already know you’ll want to get your hands on one, you may want to start putting some money aside now, because we’ve seen most Labubus in blind boxes. So if you want to connect a whole set, you’re about to do a LOT of buying.

Purposefully Oversized Sweatshirts and Shirts

This is a trend we’ve been seeing for a hot second all around, but wearing oversized shirts and/or sweatshirts continue to be a very popular style among many ages, but especially younger Millennials, Gen Z, and the older portion of Gen Alpha.

Of course, you can purchase your Disney merchandise in a larger size to MAKE it oversized (I do it all the time, I’m someone who enjoys this fashion trend), but we have a feeling we’ll start to see more merchandise that is ALREADY made to be worn oversized.

For example, an extra small would fit like a medium, a medium would fit like an extra large, and an extra large may fit like a XXXL. We don’t see this style going away any time soon, so we’re expecting to see some lines of oversized tees starting next year.

Animal Print EVERYTHING

While you can already find lots of animal print over in Animal Kingdom thanks to, you know, all the animals, but we’ve seen animal print as a whole start to make a comeback, and we KNOW Disney will join in on this trend.

Animal Print

We saw this make a comeback last in 2024, but Disney didn’t seem to go full-in on it. However, now that the trend has made yet ANOTHER comeback, we could see Disney releasing at least 2-3 more animal print collections over the course of 2026.

Flared Black Leggings

Now, listen, I’m not ashamed to tell you that I’ve ALSO succumbed to this trend myself, but straight, skinny-leg black leggings are on their way out, and flare black leggings are on their way back in.

Now, when I was a kid, these were called yoga pants — similar stretchy legging material, but instead of being skintight to your legs, they flared either just at the bottom, or were a wide-legged legging pant. Apparently, these are different, but whatever you call them, they sure are comfy and look really great on lots of body types. After not seeing them for YEARS, they’re starting to return again, and it isn’t long before we may see the “regular” leggings fade into the background.

Perfect for a comfy park outfit!

Many members of our team have started trying these out, and we can see why they’re beginning to come back into style. You won’t find us complaining, as long as no one makes fun of us when we do wear our old leggings too (we don’t have the money to redo our whole closet, we’re too busy booking trips to Disney)!

The Eradication of Skinny Jeans

Okay, this one pains me personally, but it is what it is — the eradication of skinny jeans as a staple in people’s outfits really began what feels like this year, and we can only imagine it’ll continue through 2026.

Apparently, Gen Alpha and the younger Gen Z members are VERY against skinny jeans (when the heck did this change happen? What did we miss?), and now, bootcut jeans, boyfriend fit, “mom jeans,” and wide leg jeans are now beginning to be the norm.

Now, high waisted jeans and mid-rise appear to still be in trend rather than low-rise (thank GOODNESS, please, we’re not ready for those to come back), so when Disney releases their jeans or jean shorts in 2026, we doubt we’ll see any skinny jean styles.

We’re in the Disney parks every single day to help you plan for your upcoming vacation, and that includes checking out what trends appear to be in style with different age ranges throughout the parks! We’ve already seen these trends begin to rise elsewhere, as well as peek into Disney World, so we can only imagine they’ll get bigger in 2026.
