The good news is that there is no shortage of options when it comes to dining at Disney World. The bad news is that you have to decide between all the options. We are here to help!

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney World restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We recently stopped by The Polite Pig at Disney Springs and are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
You will find The Polite Pig in the Town Center area of Disney Springs. It will be on your right as you exit the Lime Garage. The Polite Pig is a fast-casual restaurant that serves up modern barbecue inspired by Florida cuisine. It is well-known for its wood-fired options and extensive collection of whiskies.

On the menu, you will find a variety of options, including shareables, salads, sandwiches, entrees from the smoker, sides, and desserts. Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
The Polite Pig is a quick-service restaurant. You will stand in line to order and then choose your favorite spot. Once your food is ready, it will be brought directly to your table. There are also servers around that will be able to help you out if you need anything else.

You can choose from indoor or outdoor seating, and there is also a large bar area in the middle of the restaurant. There are lots of seating options, but the restaurant can get full during busy times.

When you walk in, you might even be able to catch one of the chefs working — like cutting down ribs — in the glass room by the entrance.

But enough about that, what did we get to eat?
Food
As a starter, we grabbed the BBQ Meatballs for $13. It is made with house brisket, cheddar grits, and Layla’s sweet BBQ sauce.

These were surprisingly tasty! We have to admit that it didn’t look super appetizing, and we do feel like the amount of crispy onions was a bit overkill. But you can easily eat around them. The meatballs didn’t look overly moist, but they were actually really juicy! They had a meaty flavor to them and were coated in a sweet BBQ sauce that was slightly sticky. Our reporter, who tried these, is not a huge fan of grits, but thought these were cooked well, though she didn’t taste much cheddar in them at all. They mostly just added a bit of creaminess and a soft texture.

For our main meal, we decided on the Southern Pig Sandwich for $13. It is made with pulled pork, fennel-apple slaw, tangy mustard BBQ, and Duke’s mayo served with a pickle spear.

The pork was tender, and we loved the tangy slaw on top. The slaw added a great crunch to balance the softness of the pork. We didn’t taste much BBQ sauce on top, but the good news is they brought out a selection of sauces while we were eating, so we added some on top!

We definitely recommend getting some BBQ sauce, as the sandwich was a bit dry without it. We wish the bun had been a bit fresher, but it was still good, just not as fluffy as we were hoping.

As a side, we grabbed the Crispy Brussels Sprouts for $6. It is served with whiskey-caramel.
The Brussels sprouts were cooked really well and had a bit of crispiness on the outside while being soft and easy to eat in the middle. They were drizzled with a delicious whiskey caramel sauce. It is on the sweeter side, but it worked really well with the sprouts. We will definitely be back for this side! Our reporter who tried these said they were some of the best she’s had! The sauce definitely takes a bit of the healthiness away, but hey, they’re still veggies and you are still on vacation!

We also couldn’t resist grabbing the Mac and Cheese for $6. It is made with aged cheddar and breadcrumbs.
This was also a big yum! The breadcrumbs on top are what really sold us, as they added the perfect amount of seasoning and crunch. The macaroni itself is a white cheddar mac and cheese. It was creamy but not swimming in sauce, which our reporter preferred. It was a good portion for the price, and it even had the crunchy baked cheese on top, which was wonderful.

And for dessert, we got the Blueberry Bread Pudding.Â

This was a generous portion, and you could easily share it. The piece was crispy on the outside and nice and moist in the center. There were blueberries throughout the bread, and it was also served with some blueberry compote. Very sweet, but also very delicious! Lots of blueberry flavor, and the bread pudding had a great texture. Definitely a must-get if you like bread pudding!

So, is The Polite Pig worth your time and money?
