If You Get ONE Halloween Treat in Magic Kingdom, GET THIS

Halloween may be months away, but at Disney World, spooky season is in full swing!

S’mores Cup

The Mickey pumpkins are lining Main Street, U.S.A., and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party runs on certain nights from August 15th to October 31st. I’ve been to Disney World in every season, but this one is hands down my favorite! The best part, though? Well, that has to be the food!

Now, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party has exclusive food items, but did you know that some are available during the day AND during the party? That’s right — we’re reviewing the NEW daytime treats that any Magic Kingdom visitor can grab during the Halloween season.

Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

The ice cream shop at the end of Main Street is known for having delicious seasonal sweet treats, and this year is no exception! Say hello to the Pumpkin Sundae, made with pumpkin gelato with pumpkin-spiced caramel sauce, pumpkin brittle, and Halloween sprinkles for $8.29. Let’s just say you’re going to need to love pumpkin to remotely appreciate this. We thought it was just TOO much pumpkin.

Pumpkin Sundae

For starters, it tastes like pumpkin pie and reminds us more of Thanksgiving than Halloween. We did love that there’s a ton of whipped cream, though, so there’s that. There’s also a nice crunchy from the candied pumpkin seeds on top, but we don’t think we’d get this again.

Columbia Harbour House

Columbia Harbour House is one of our favorite quick-service restaurants in Magic Kingdom, so we were excited to check out the new dessert here! The S’mores Cup ($5.99) is made up of layers of graham cracker crumbs, chocolate ganache, chocolate popping candies, milk chocolate panna cotta, and marshmallow cream. The ghosts are so cute, but also fluffy and tasty. The panna cotta is thick, smooth, and fluffy and has the perfect amount of chocolate.

We also like the layer of graham cracker crumbs and chocolate ganache. The popping candies are also a lot of fun and add a nice crunch.

Liberty Square Market

A slushy is the perfect way to cool down on a hot day, and if you’re looking to try something new, check out the Magic Potion Slushy for $6.29. This is a Fanta Blue Raspberry slush with yuzu, but the coolest part is that it changes color from blue to green when you stir! It certainly looks like a magic potion.

Magic Potion Slushy

The flavor, though? Well, it’s pretty basic. It’s just a blue raspberry slushy. So it’s fine, but nothing to write home about.
