Heads Up! A Popular Disney World Character Breakfast Is CHANGING

We’ve got pretty big news coming out of Disney’s Hollywood Studios that I can admit I personally REALLY didn’t see coming.

Hollywood & Vine

Recently, Disney announced that a BIG overhaul will be coming to Animation Courtyard in 2026, but now another change is coming to a restaurant in the park that we’re speculating may be due to the upcoming retheme. Here’s why you need to be prepared for this Hollywood Studios breakfast to change BIG time in just a few months.

Hollywood & Vine is known for having seasonal buffet dining parties for lunch and dinner, often themed to Halloween, Christmas, and everything in between! However, if you want a buffet for breakfast here, you’ll get to experience Disney Junior Play n’ Dine.

Vampirina

This breakfast buffet is a huge hit for kids, because they’ll get to meet some of their favorite Disney Jr. characters like Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, Doc McStuffins, and more!

However, a MASSIVE change is coming on October 12th — instead of Disney Junior Play n’ Dine taking place at breakfast, Minnie’s Seasonal Dine will take over instead, meaning that Minnie and her friends will be greeting guests for all three meals of the day instead of just two.

What’s up Goof?

Yes, this means that October 11th will be the final day to meet Disney Jr. characters at breakfast. We can’t help but think this is tied with the upheaval of Animation Courtyard, as Animation Courtyard and Disney Jr. Play and Dance! will close beginning September 25th, 2025 to make way for the new changes. This means that after October 11th, there will be NOWHERE to see the Disney Jr. characters in the park until the new area opens, and that’s not guaranteed.

A new show called The Magic of Disney Animation will take the place of Star Wars: Launch Bay, and a new Drawn to Wonderland playground area will be built in the area as well, so it’s possible we could see these Disney Jr. characters return in 2026, but there’s no guarantee. Especially since Vampirina, Fancy Nancy, and Doc McStuffins’ shows have all since ended, it’s possible their pull for young kids just isn’t as strong anymore.

If you’ve got kiddos who love the Disney Jr. characters and you’ve got the opportunity to take them to Hollywood & Vine or to see the “Get Animated!” show that’s available in Animation Courtyard for Cool Kid Summer, we suggest taking them so they can experience these characters one last time!

  1. I’m really Sad, Gutted, and Heartbroken about this. Doc McStuffins is my favorite Disney Character of all time!

I really was looking forward to seeing her again; but I don’t know who is behind this.

I did see that She’ll be at the Disney Junior Jams (Christmas and Halloween) at Magic Kingdom.

Other than that, Doc McStuffins will be missed 😭😢💔; she hold too many memories!
