The World’s BIGGEST Cruise Ship Is Coming to Florida

As much as we love Disney Cruises, we found the next cruise ship we can’t wait to hop on!

You’ve all heard of the Disney Cruise Line, but have you heard of the largest cruise ship in the world? It’s said to become the crown jewel of Royal Caribbean’s sprawling fleet, and it will be docking in Florida before its departure in late August…for the first time ever!

The largest cruise ship in the world is called the Star of the Seas, and this thing is wild! It contains 20 decks and a capacity for up to 5,000 passengers. It recently set sail from Finland, where its construction port is, and will arrive at Florida’s Port Canaveral on August 15th. This thing is a beauty!

The ship is scheduled to embark on August 31st, and is anticipating thousands of tourists to join on this journey. The ship will depart from Port Canaveral and continue to make stops in the eastern and western ends of the Caribbean. This will include San Juan, St. Kitts, Cozumel, and Royal Caribbean’s private island in the Bahamas, Coco Cay.

If you’re thinking to yourself, “this thing has got to be expensive”, you’d be right. The cheapest, yes, the CHEAPEST, ticket starts at $951 per person.

The cruise ship is filled with loads of activities, which are free of extra charge. Some of which will include having a blast at the largest waterpark at sea. You’ll also be able to experience a little bit of Broadway through rotating performances of “Back to the Future: The Musical”. There is so much in store for this new cruise ship!
