I Just Spent Half of My Paycheck on Summer Essentials on Amazon — Here’s What I Bought

This summer, I’m ditching my usual Disney World trip for somewhere new. I’m going to Europe for the first time!

Just like Disney World trips, I’m obsessing over every detail, creating extensive packing and shopping lists, and annoying all of my friends by talking about it nonstop. I’ve been saving the shopping list for Amazon Prime Days since these are some of the BIGGEST deals of the entire year (yes, many of them are better than Black Friday!) and let’s just say, I spent a LOT…but I also got a LOT of items! Here’s a look at some I’m most excited about. These travel essentials aren’t just good for Europe — they’re also perfect for Disney, so it’s really an investment. Right? (Please say yes…)

I didn’t expect to be THIS excited about packing cubes, but when I saw this 8-Piece BAGAIL Set, it took me approximately 0.1 seconds to hit “Add to Cart.”

I’ve been through many packing cube sets over the years, but they end up ripping, and they didn’t have a lot of size variety, so it’s time to try something new. It’s currently 42% off — order your own set below!

After Quincy tested out the Trtl Neck Pillow, I knew this had to be on my radar when the sales dropped. This thing isn’t cheap, so I was stoked to see it 30% off!

This isn’t your standard neck pillow. It’s more of a headrest, with soft fabric and a sturdy side to lean on. I don’t know about you, but regular neck pillows just don’t do it for me, and I can never get comfortable enough to sleep. I can’t wait to test this on a nine-hour flight!

I’m stoked to try out the free, safe-to-drink water fountains around Italy, but what happens when you’re in a bind and you need water? I ultimately ended up grabbing a couple of these Brita Water Bottles, which will filter the water before drinking. How neat is that?

Originally, a collapsible water bottle was ideal to save space, but a lot of those silicone bottles had reviews saying the taste was off. Then I saw the price on these and I was sold. These are definitely going to Disney World with me, too!

You cannot make me wear corded earbuds. I’ve gone to Bluetooth Beats headphones and I will never go back. Luckily, we have the technology for that — check out AirFly!

On planes with built-in screens, you have to plug in headphones to hear…unless you use one of these. You plug this in, pair your Bluetooth device to it, and you’re good to go! It’s only four inches long, so it’s super small to toss into your personal bag.

When not watching TV on the plane, I plan to SLEEP (hence the fancy travel pillow). Whether you have the same motive, you get overwhelmed by loud noises in public, or you’re worried about noise in your hotel room, the Loop Earplugs are also on sale on Amazon!

Usually, the pretty colors are more expensive, even during Prime Days, but luckily, the purple and mint green are under $17, along with the black pair. These are made to last up to 5 years and come with their own case!

All of the “it” girls in movies travel in matching sets and beautiful clothes…but let’s face it, they do NOT look comfortable. So I went scouring for a set that looks cute and cozy and found this Two-Piece Lounge Set.

It comes in nearly every shade of the rainbow. There’s even a coffee shade (anything that makes me think of caffeine is an instant must) that I’m trying out!

This is not a drill! Fry Bucket’s favorite travel backpack is also on sale — it’s not a want, it’s a NEED.

This item uses space wisely, so you aren’t wasting any of it, which is ideal for overpackers like me! With a laptop sleeve, a main pocket with organizers, an insulated pocket, two front zipper pockets, a side water bottle pocket, and a trolley sleeve so it can attach to a suitcase, what’s not to love? Oh, and it fits under the seat in front of you on a plane. I can’t believe it’s under $23!

I bought a lot more, including the boring stuff like Tide To Go Sticks and deodorant, but these are definitely the highlights of travel essential sales. The Prime Day deals only last through July 11th, so shop them while you can! Stay tuned to AllEars for more.
