Welcome to Disney World! Home of incredible rides, amazing characters, and an insane amount of dining options. Trying to figure out where to eat during your vacation is hard, but that’s why we’re here to help! We’ve tried every restaurant, so you know where to go and where to skip.

We went to STK Steakhouse at Disney Springs for dinner, and we’re bringing you a full review so you can decide if it’s worth the stop.
Background
STK (pronounced S.T.K. and not steak) invited you to “escape the ordinary when you dine at this ultra-modern steakhouse offering incredible cuisine and an upbeat vibe.” It’s Signature Dining, or Disney’s fancy word for fine dining, and is a steakhouse with a modern twist.

Beyond steaks, which they do have plenty of fantastic options of, they offer seafood and other meat-based dishes like lamb and chicken. They serve a raw seafood bar, cooked fish dishes, and seafood toppings you can add to your steaks to turn them into surf and turf. STK also has nine different sauces you can try!

Let’s walk in and find our table.
Atmosphere
As soon as you walk into STK, you know this isn’t your ordinary steakhouse! It’s a two-story restaurant with a rooftop terrace with incredible views of Disney Springs. It doesn’t have your traditional steakhouse vibe with low lights. It may not be the ideal atmosphere if you are looking for an intimate or romantic setting, but it has fun vibes.

And we can’t wait to tell you about a hidden gem at this restaurant: Steak Night! Steak Night America is available from Sunday through Thursday and is for two people and costs $69 per person. If you choose to take advantage of Steak Night America, you get two starters, two entrees, two sides, one dessert, and a bottle of La Marca Prosecco or Bonanza Cabernet. We thought this was a GREAT deal and we needed to give it a try. So, let’s dig in!

You get a lot of food for only $69, and compared to the normal prices on the menu, you are getting a great deal.
Food & Drinks
We started our meal with the Lil’ Brgs. They are made with wagyu beef and feature a special sauce and a sesame seed bun. These were little burgers with a piece of tomato on each and then topped with a sauce. The bun is a brioche bun with black sesame seeds on top.

We thought these had a wonderful flavor and we could definitely tell they were made with wagyu beef as they tasted more flavorful than traditional beef burgers. The sauce reminded us of thousand island, but even better. We could tell it was house made and complimented the burgers nicely. We think these were tasty and a good deal on the prix fixe menu, but we don’t think they are worth their normal price.

For our second appetizer, we chose the Jalapeno Pickled Shrimp Cocktail. This comes with 4 prawns, cocktail sauce, and lemon. The shrimp were very well cooked and were wonderfully juicy. The shrimp have a great bite to them.

The cocktail sauce was on the spicy side and had a good kick. It also had lots of tomato flavor, but not in a tomato ketchup way. Overall, we really enjoyed this appetizer, and it gives you a surf and turf vibe if you choose the steak as your entree.

Moving to our entrees, we got the Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass. You can get this normally for $58. The dish comes with sautéed Bok choy, ginger, crispy shallots, and Thai basil. The sea bass was cooked well and the miso crust on it was delicious. The crust wasn’t crunchy, but it gave the fish a nice bite to it. This is a dish we would definitely get again!

We got the 6 oz Filet (which usually costs $59) for our second entree. We knew we couldn’t leave without trying the sauces, so we tried the Au Poivre sauce with our filet. While this isn’t the best filet we have ever had, we still really enjoyed it. It was cooked exactly how we wanted, and the steak had a great crust to it.

We loved that you could taste the seasoning and the salt kernels on top of the steak. It was tender, although not butter tender. We definitely recommend getting a sauce with your steak, and we chose the Au Poivre sauce.

The Au Poivre sauce is a peppercorn sauce. It was full of pepper flavor, but didn’t have a spiciness to it. It was a good texture, and you didn’t end up getting peppercorn kernels while you were eating the steak. It stuck to the steak nicely and really added a wonderful flavor.

The first side we ordered was the Mac & Cheese. This is a baked mac and cheese, and it was oh so creamy. It was cheesy, but not in a stringy way. It didn’t have a crunchy curst on top, but the parmesan layer on top did add a great texture to the noodles.

We also got the Asparagus. These were grilled and cooked very well. They had a great acidity to them, and the bread crumb topping was a great touch.

For dessert, we chose the Bag O’ Donuts. These normally cost $15. The donuts are coated in cinnamon sugar and served with dulce de leche, spiced chocolate, and raspberry. You get six donut holes, which is the perfect amount to split with someone else.

The cinnamon sugar coating was great, and the inside was soft and fluffy. The chocolate sauce tasted like Hershey’s syrup. The raspberry sauce reminded us of the filling of a jelly donut but very thin. The dulce de leche sauce was very thick and hard to get on the donuts since they were so soft. However, it was delicious, and we couldn’t complain that we had to just eat it by the spoonful.

The donuts dunked wonderfully into the chocolate and raspberry sauces, but the dulce de leche ended up being a separate treat for us! Overall, we had a very enjoyable meal, however we really don’t think this restaurant is worth the price unless you take advantage of Steak Night America or their Happy Hour.

Steak Night America was a great deal, and we felt very satisfied with our meal. However, if we paid full price for the items we got, we don’t think we would have been as satisfied. The prix fixe meal is a great option, but you will need to ask about it. It wasn’t something they highlighted when you sat down, but as soon as you asked about it, they brought the menu out for us.

Overall, we were really impressed with the Steak Night America deal at STK. For $69 per person, you got a lot of food and even got a bottle of Prosecco or Cabernet to share. This restaurant is on the pricier side, and we don’t think the restaurant is necessarily worth it if you are paying normal prices, but for their prix fixe meal or Happy Hour, we definitely recommend stopping by!

I would not step foot in that place if you were paying and I dead. Overall this place is horrible, went one year for mothers day with a reservation, waited almost an hour past our reservation to be seated, then when seated it took almost another hour to have a waitress take our order. Then it took awhile just for our drinks to come out, never got our food as they said the kitchen shut down, the atmosphere is extremely LOUD too.
