The NEW Disney Adventure Cruise Ship Just Announced a HINT About Its Attractions!

The Disney Adventure, one of Disney Cruise Line‘s newest ships, will set sail from Singapore in December 2025, but there’s still a lot of work to be done before it’s ready for its inaugural sailing.

The iconic stern characters were just installed on the ship, but now we have a NEW update on some of the entertainment on board. For the first time in forever, Disney is casting for a DREAM JOB on the Disney Adventure!

According to the Disney Careers website, the Disney Adventure is now casting female-identifying performers between 5’7″ and 5’10” for Disney Adventure live entertainment.

However, it doesn’t state what puppeteers will be working on onboard the ship! We know that they’re searching for large puppet operators, rod and hand puppet performers, EXO suit puppet operators, and specialty puppet roles. It’s possible that these performers are for a range of shows across the ship, but there’s no guarantee.

We do know that the following shows will be available on the Disney Adventure when it sets sail:

• Avengers Assemble! (A live show featuring many Marvel characters, jaw-dropping stunts, and special effects)
• Duffy and The Friend Ship (Featuring Duffy and Friends and Tippy Blu, Disney describes this show as having “captivating songs, stunning visuals and joyous moments, discover the magic of the ocean, the power of imagination and the true meaning of friendship.”)
• Captain Jack Sparrow & the Siren Queen (A live show featuring Captain Jack Sparrow in person, but the Siren Queen will be brought to life using screens)
• Remember (Disney describes this show as an “all-new musical extravaganza [that] enlists heroes from Coco, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and other favorite Disney and Pixar animated films to restore EVE’s memories through the power of music, hope, and treasured remembrances.”
• Moana: Call of the Sea (A musical retelling of Moana, “as told by a captivating ensemble of island storytellers, accompanied by music, movement, puppetry, and water effects.”
• Disney Seas the Adventure (Join your favorite Disney and Pixar characters for a show “filled with rousing renditions of iconic Disney tunes.”)
• Baymax Super Exercise Expo (Join Hiro and Baymax in a high-energy musical exercise routine)

Based on those descriptions, could this casting call be specifically for Moana: Call of the Sea? Keep in mind that it’s entirely possible other shows have puppetry aspects, and Disney may not have displayed them on their website yet. It’s all still a MYSTERY — OOH!
