Are you heading to Disney World and feeling overwhelmed by the dining options? Even with three meals a day and snacks, it may feel like you can never try all the places you think you want to. Luckily, you’ve come to the right place!

We know all the ins and outs of Disney World restaurants — including where you should definitely eat, and where you should skip. We are always reviewing dining locations to provide you with the most up-to-date reviews, so you can make the best dining decisions for your family. We recently stopped by the Refreshment Port at EPCOT, and we are bringing you our FULL review!
Background
The Refreshment Port is located in the World Showcase of EPCOT. You will find it right as you are entering the loop before you get to the Canada Pavilion. It is right behind the Swirled Showcase. If you aren’t paying enough attention, you could easily walk right by as it doesn’t immediately catch your attention. However, should you make a stop at this kiosk? We are finding out!

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.
Atmosphere
The Refreshment Port kiosk has a limited menu of poutines and beverages. It often offers a special poutine for the current EPCOT festival, and it also usually offers Traditional Poutine. In addition to the poutines, you will find a variety of beverages including seasonal draft beer and seasonal wine.

Since it is a kiosk-style dining location, it doesn’t offer any dedicated seating. There are a few benches and standing tables nearby, but it can sometimes be difficult to find a place to eat your food. However, the Refreshment Port is a quick and easy location to grab a quick snack. It doesn’t usually have a long line, and since it has such a limited menu, you will usually be in and out with your food in no time.

Let’s take a look at what we grabbed at the Refreshment Port!
Food & Drinks
For our snack, we grabbed the Traditional Poutine for $7.50. It is made with French fries, beef gravy, and cheese curds. This poutine is made with the classic Disney, thin-cut style fries that are then topped with a brown gravy.

The gravy is very savory with a good kick of saltiness to it. The gravy is more saucy and not quite as thick as a traditional gravy. The cheese curds on top are the best part! They are cheesy, squishy and make that satisfying squeaking when you bite into them. There is a reason this is an EPCOT favorite!

To drink, we picked up the Raspberry Lemon Hard Cider for $12. We were impressed with the flavors in this cider. It is a bit of a weaker cider, but we loved that you could equally taste the raspberry and lemon in it.

You get a good amount of the cider for $12 which we were also very happy about. While it might not make it on our list of favorite alcoholic beverages in EPCOT, the flavors were on point, and we enjoyed sipping on this.

Now, let’s take a look at who we recommend the Refreshment Port for!
Magic or Tragic?
This Disney World restaurant is a must-visit if…
- You are looking for a quick snack in your World Showcase travels. The Refreshment Port is an easy stop to grab a quick bite. There isn’t usually a super long line, so you can be in and out with your food quickly.
- You are craving some poutine. If you are wanting a bowl of poutine, then you will want to make a stop by the Refreshment Port. It won’t be the best poutine you have ever had, but it will cure the itch.
- You don’t want to have to decide between a bunch of options. If you are tired of making decisions and want a menu that has limited options, this could be a good choice. You can choose from two types or poutine or a variety of beverages.
You should skip this Disney World spot if…
- You are looking for a full meal. The menu here is very limited, so this won’t be a good option if you are looking for a full meal.
- You want dedicated seating for the restaurant. There are a few benches and standing tables nearby, but there is no dedicated place for you to enjoy your food and drink here.
- You are looking for lots of snack options. The menu offers two types of poutines and some beverages. It doesn’t offer a wide variety of options, so you would be better going somewhere else if you want more options.
Refreshment Port Restaurant
Services: Kiosk
Overall, we think the Refreshment Port is a great option for a quick snack in EPCOT. The traditional poutine is a classic snack and perfect for tiding you over until your next meal. You can also select from a variety of beverages. We were really impressed by the cider we got and loved that we could taste the raspberry and lemon in it. It was also a great accompaniment to our poutine. Definitely a solid choice if you are needing a bit of fuel for your journey around World Showcase.

In the meantime, we’ll be on the lookout for more restaurant updates from Disney World and beyond. Make sure you stay tuned to AllEars for the latest Disney news and more!
