REVIEW: There’s Only One Reason To Go To This Disney World Hotel Bar, But I Say Just Skip It

If you’re heading to Disney World soon, and you’ve got no clue where you should eat, good news! We’ve got you covered!

Disney’s Beach Club Resort

Here at AllEars, we know all the ins and outs of Disney World restaurants like the backs of our hands — like where you should eat, and where you should pass by. We recently stopped by Martha’s Vineyard at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, and now we’ve gotta go over our FULL review with you!

Background

Martha’s Vineyard is tucked away inside Disney’s Beach Club Resort, a hotel known for its New England-inspired charm and relaxing vibes.

Martha’s Vineyard

The theme is simple — think nautical decor with a touch of elegance. It’s not the most immersive experience you’ll find at Disney, but it does provide a cozy and comfortable place to unwind.

Martha’s Vineyard

Unlike the hustle and bustle of other Disney dining locations, this spot is quiet, low-key, and feels more like a classic hotel lounge than a full-service restaurant.

Here’s what you need to know about dining at this restaurant.

Atmosphere

There’s a small bar area with seating, along with a handful of tables for those who prefer a more traditional dining setup.

The menu here isn’t extensive, but it features a selection of lounge bites, cocktails, wines, and other classic bar drinks.

If you’re looking for a full meal, this probably isn’t the spot for you. But if you need a snack and a drink before heading back to your resort room, it could be a solid option.

But enough about that, what are we eating?!

Food & Drinks

First up, we grabbed the Barbecue Pork Ribs for $14. They’re served with coleslaw.

Now these were definitely the highlight of the meal. They were fantastic. The meat was tender, with just the right balance of fat to keep things juicy without being overwhelming.

Barbecue Pork Ribs

The barbecue sauce had a familiar taste, similar to what you’d find at Flame Tree BBQ in Animal Kingdom (which is a good thing). It was flavorful without being too sweet or too smoky.

Barbecue Pork Ribs

The ribs were served on a bed of coleslaw, but let’s be honest — it felt more like a garnish than a true side. The portion size was decent for the price, and the quick service time was a nice surprise. Overall, if you’re a barbecue fan, this is a solid pick.

Next, we grabbed the New England Clam Chowder for $9. It’s served with cornbread.

New England Clam Chowder

For $9, you get a generous bowl of clam chowder, and honestly, it’s a pretty good deal (considering typical Disney prices). The soup was creamy and well-seasoned, though it had a thinner consistency rather than the thick, rich texture some might expect. There were plenty of veggies—lots of celery and onion—but the clams themselves weren’t particularly noticeable.

The standout feature had to be the oyster crackers. They had a special seasoning on them that really elevated the dish. The chowder also came with a piece of cornbread, but unfortunately, this was the weakest part of the meal. It was dry and a bit stale, which made it a letdown compared to the otherwise solid soup.

To drink, we picked up the Blood Orange Margarita for $12.50. This is made with Lunazul Añejo Tequila, Cointreau Liqueur, Lime Juice, and Blood Orange Sour.

Blood Orange Margarita

This drink was fruity, smooth, and well-balanced—not too strong on the alcohol, but also not overly sweet.

Presentation-wise, the margarita was served in a cute little glass with a salted rim, adding a nice touch. While it was refreshing and enjoyable, it wasn’t particularly memorable—just a solid, well-made cocktail.

Magic or Tragic?

Martha’s Vineyard is a must-visit if…

  • You’re staying at Disney’s Beach Club Resort and want a casual place to grab a drink and a snack.
  • You’re looking for a quieter alternative to the busier bars and lounges around Disney World.
  • You enjoy barbecue and want a tasty (and relatively affordable) plate of ribs.

You should skip this Martha’s Vineyard if…

  • You’re looking for a full, satisfying meal—it’s mostly small plates and appetizers here.
  • You prefer a more immersive or themed dining experience.
  • You want a standout cocktail experience—while the drinks are good, they’re not particularly unique or memorable.

Rating: N/A Recommended By: N/A
Menus: Pub/Lounge
Services: Bar/Lounge

Martha’s Vineyard is a solid, if unremarkable, choice for a casual bite and a drink. The ribs were the standout, the chowder was decent (minus the cornbread mishap), and the drink was good but not unforgettable.

Would we go out of our way to eat here? Probably not. But if you’re staying at Beach Club or happen to be in the area looking for a quiet spot to unwind, it’s a fine option. Just don’t expect anything mind-blowing. You’ll find better food (though a busier atmostphere) at two lounges right next door at Disney’s Yacht Club — Ale and Compass Lounge and Crew’s Cup Lounge. We would suggest skipping Martha’s Vineyard for the short walk to one of those.
