With Epic Universe’s opening just months away, the hype train for Universal’s latest theme park is chugging ahead at full speed, including a new video uploaded to Universal’s social media channels.

The short clip features many of the “visionaries behind Universal Epic Universe” sharing why the new park will be the “latest extraordinary chapter in Universal Orlando Resort’s history of immersive thrills” through archival footage, a preview of Epic Universe, and even a tease of the resort’s future plans.
The clip, which lasts just under 3 minutes, was uploaded on March 3rd.
The clip begins with major Universal figures, including Universal Orlando COO Karen Irwin and Universal Destinations & Experiences Chairman and CEO Mark Woodbury discussing the evolution of the Florida resort into a “fully integrated resort destination” as archival footage plays, including a clip from the park’s legendarily disastrous opening.

From there, the clip transitions into talking about how Epic Universe is going to “change the game” when it comes to how much time guests will dedicate to Universal Orlando trips.

Next, Epic Universe Creative Director Steve Tatham discusses the park’s offerings in a bit more depth over footage of animated Epic Universe concept art.

Finally, the talking heads wrap the video by each talking about how Universal “thrives on change” before Irwin that Universal has a “slate” of attractions in active development for all of their parks, and that Universal is already planning for the “next thing at Epic.” She ends the video by saying “There’s so much more to do and so many more stories to tell.”

As Epic Universe moves closer to opening, Universal has realized a new video about the park that establishes its place in Universal’s tradition of change, while at the same time teasing its future. Stay tuned to AllEars for more on Epic Universe’s opening.
