Nobody Is Talking About This NEW Disney Cruise Line Tip That Could Save You THOUSANDS

If going on a Disney Cruise is in your future, then you’re probably starting to compare some numbers.

Stateroom onboard the Disney Treasure

The Disney Treasure is the newest ship, having just begun sailings in December 2024, but two more ships will join the fleet by the end of the first quarter of 2026 — the Disney Adventure and Disney Destiny. While the Disney Destiny will be docked in the United States at Fort Lauderdale, the Disney Adventure will be docked in Singapore. However, if you think a Singapore cruise is cheaper than a cruise from the United States, we’re here to tell you that we quickly found that to be VERY untrue.

We were on the Disney Cruise Line website checking out rates for both of the new ships and were shocked to find that while a 4-night cruise on the Disney Adventure out of Singapore is $1493.90 in an inside stateroom, the Disney Destiny has a MUCH higher price tag.

On the Disney Destiny, sailing from Fort Lauderdale, a 4-night cruise $2,794.48 for an inside stateroom — that’s OVER $1000 more for the same length of stay, and for the SAME type of stateroom!

Does this mean that flying to Singapore for a Disney Adventure cruise may actually be cheaper than sailing on the Disney Destiny? Well, the answer is yes IF Singapore has been on your bucket list for a while anyway. If you were looking to cross over both a Disney Cruise and traveling to Singapore, it makes more sense to do it in one trip, then add a few extra days before or after the cruise to explore the area.

However, if you have no interest in traveling out of the country to get on a Disney Cruise, or you’ve never particularly wanted to go to Singapore, then we don’t recommend flying all the way there just to get a cheaper price on a cruise ship. Why? Well, because flights from the United States to Singapore are usually around $1,100-$1,400 at a good price, and that will quickly deplete what you saved on the cruise itself.

Traveling out of the country for a cruise is also a big decision — flying to and from somewhere like Singapore is a 24+ hour trip, and you’ll be dealing with a lot of jet lag, so keep that in mind as well!
