There are SO many things coming to Disney World in the coming years that it can be hard to keep track of all of them.
From two new lounges to brand-new lands like a Monsters, Inc. Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and a Villains Land in Magic Kingdom, there are a lot of new experiences coming to Disney World.
One new experience has gone under the radar as construction is just beginning, and it is not expected to open until 2027. However, Bioreconstruct recently posted some fantastic aerial shots of the construction progress for the new Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge, and we knew we had to share them with you.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is a brand-new Disney Vacation Club resort near Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. In the photo, the dirt area is where the hotel is currently being built. To the left, you will see Fort Wilderness, and across the water, you can see Disney’s Wilderness Lodge with a green roof.
It is being built in the same footprint previously slated for Relections — A Disney Lakeside Lodge resort. Construction is moving right along, and we are excited to learn more about this new hotel.
So far, we only know that this new hotel “will be inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists,” and it is expected to open in 2027. We will be sure to keep you updated as we learn more, though!
