Disney offers several chances to ring in the new year!

With New Year’s Eve almost here (No, we can’t believe it either), Walt Disney World is planning to ring in 2025 the only way they can: with a LARGE amount of fireworks! However, the actual turn of the calendar to January 1st isn’t the only time guests at the resort will be able to celebrate the turn of the calendar with some pyrotechnics!
First off, the obvious: There will be a massive Magic Kingdom fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom as 2024 turns into 2025. The special super-sized New Year’s offering of the classic Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks will begin at 11:50PM on December 31st, culminating in a massive crescendo at midnight.

However, in addition to the late-night display on New Year’s Eve, the same Fantasy in the Sky display will also be staged earlier on the evening of the 31st at 6:30PM. Furthermore, the fireworks will also staged at the same times (6:30PM and 11:50PM) on December 30th as well.

We actually love this, as the earlier shows not only provide an option for families with young kids (or those who want to get to bed early) to enjoy the New Year’s festivities, but these multiple showings also allow more people to experience the show, which is a massive plus given the large capacity crowds that pack the park on New Year’s Eve.

Of course, the Magic Kingdom isn’t the only Disney park that’s going to ring in 2025. EPCOT will also feature a special fireworks display: Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration will be staged at 11:54PM on New Year’s Eve.

In addition, Hollywood Studios will also be open until midnight. and will have its own New Year’s Eve fireworks show at 11:57PM on December 31st.
If you’re going to be at the Magic Kingdom during the New Year’s holiday, you’ll actually have FOUR chances to see the special holiday version of the Fantasy in the Sky fireworks! Stay tuned to AllEars for more coverage of New Year’s at Disney World!
