TIMES Revealed for New Year’s Eve Fireworks at Disney World in 2024

Can you believe we’re almost into 2025?!

It’s been quite the year for Disney World fans with the end of the EPCOT transformation, the grand opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, and so many announcements about future rides and expansions. Now, if you want to ring in the New Year at Disney World, we’ve got some details you’ll want to know about!

The Disney World calendar now reveals the park hours and showtimes for specialty New Year’s Eve fireworks. Let’s take a look!

Park Hours

You can spend New Year’s Eve in any of the four theme parks at Disney World. Here is the breakdown of how long they’ll be open:

• Magic Kingdom: 9AM-12AM (Early Entry begins at 8:30AM)
• EPCOT: 9AM-1AM (Early Entry begins at 8:30AM)
• Disney’s Hollywood Studios: 9AM-12AM (Early Entry begins at 8:30AM)
• Disney’s Animal Kingdom: 8AM-6PM (Early Entry begins at 7:30AM)

For the most time in a theme park, you’ll want to head to EPCOT as it is the only park open past midnight. Don’t forget — Disney World hotel guests get access to the parks 30 minutes early via Early Theme Park Entry!

Fireworks Showtimes

Both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT have New Year’s Eve fireworks shows. Heading to EPCOT? You can catch the Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration at 11:54PM. This will ONLY occur on December 31st, so you have one chance to catch it!

Over in Magic Kingdom, it’s a different story. Fantasy In The Sky Fireworks will take place on December 30th and 31st at 6:30PM and 11:50PM giving visitors four chances to see it.

It’s pretty rare for Disney World parks to hit capacity, however, if it’s going to happen, it’s likely that it’ll be on a holiday like New Year’s Eve. These fireworks shows are super rare and only happen once or twice each year so people flock to see them.

For those who need Park Pass Reservations, we’ve already seen those start to fill up in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. If you want to guarantee a spot in the park, we recommend entering the park of your choice earlier in the day!
