Lions in Animal Kingdom

If The Lion King is your favorite movie, 2024 was a BIG year for it. The film just celebrated its 30th anniversary. We marked the occasion by seeing the NEW lions in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but a new Lion King prequel movie, Mufasa, is now in theaters, and it tells the story of Mufasa, Simba’s father. In honor of the movie’s release, some new snacks and drinks have arrived at Disney World.

That’s right. Mufasa is in theaters now, which means you can also enjoy some new treats at Disney World. That includes the Mufasa Cake Bar, made with cinnamon-vanilla mousse and vanilla chiffon with caramel chocolate-coated feuilletine crunch dipped in dark chocolate at Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs.

The Mufasa Pride Rock Profiterole is a cream puff filled with chocolate cream and whipped coffee ganache. You can grab it at Creature Comforts in Animal Kingdom.
