The SECRET To Getting a FREE Disney Souvenir Before It Hits Shelves

Moana 2 has been a box office hit since it premiered during Thanksgiving week.

The film was initially supposed to be Moana: The Series on Disney+ before turning into a feature film that got a wide theatrical release. We’ve written our full review which you can check out here, but you might catch us running back to theaters for this FREE souvenir!

If you haven’t already seen Moana 2 in theaters — now might be the perfect time to check it out! Ravensburger, makers of the popular Disney Lorcana trading card game, have announced an exclusive FREE souvenir when you see Moana 2 at select theaters.

From now until December 15th, when you purchase tickets to see Moana 2 at select Cinemark theaters, you’ll receive a free Disney Lorcana TCG promo card, Moana — Adventurer of Land and Sea. This card hasn’t even been released yet — it’s from a future set with silver foil art inspired by the film!

In case you’re not familiar, Lorcana is a strategy card game in which the players are called “Illumineers.” The Illumineers wield magical ink to use “glimmers” which are Disney characters, items, actions, songs, and new to Into the Inkwells, locations. The goal of the game is to race your opponent across the realm of Lorcana to gain more “lore” aka points.

The new movie follows Moana and Maui as they embark on a new adventure to save Moana’s people, but this time some new friends (and some familiar favorites) join the journey. After Moana receives a calling from her wayfinding ancestors to find the hidden island of Motufetu and break a curse, Moana and her friends set sail across Oceania, facing several threats along the way.

In our review, we felt that Moana 2 was a worthy sequel to Moana! The new movie is made with love and honors Polynesian culture while featuring tons of laughs and beautiful imagery. You can check out our full review right here!
