There’s so much to explore on this new Disney Cruise Line ship — new entertainment, decorations and design, and the new dining locations and lounges, just to name a few! One of the additions we’ve been looking forward to the most is the new Haunted Mansion-themed lounge called the Haunted Mansion Parlor, and now we’re getting an exclusive first look!

The storyline behind the Haunted Mansion Parlor is inspired directly from the iconic attraction in many different Disney theme parks and includes some incredible theming details that we’ve been loving ever since the concept art. As you step into the parlor, it truly does feel like you’ve walked into a sitting area of the real mansion. The detail Disney has created in impeccable imagineering!

This lounge is great for lovers of the Haunted Mansion!

Not only is the decor, like the chandeliers, carpet, and color combinations, directly from the attraction, but we also finally got to see some of the smaller hidden details in person too, like the bust of Rolly Crump, who played an integral part of creation the Haunted Mansion attraction!

We also got to see the fish aquarium in the bar, which has quite the storyline behind it itself, as it’s from Crump’s “Museum of the Weird” that was originally pitched to be part of the Haunted Mansion attraction.

The lounge has a variety of seating as if you’re really inside the Haunted Mansion. There’s a great fireplace with chairs where you can enjoy your drink and take in all the details of the parlor. There are also chaise lounges placed around the outline of the room with pictures that will likely remind you of the ride at the parks.

The bar itself has a spooky mirror beyond it. Watch out for those hitchhiking ghosts!

How creepy, yet awesome, will it be to hangout with all of these details you’ve seen on the ride, but now you’ll be sitting with enjoying a drink?!

Of course, it’s not a Haunted Mansion themed area without the famous Hidden Donald Duck chair!
