It’s been a few weeks now since The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers finally opened at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, and despite the high prices, we really enjoyed our dining experience when we tried it out!

One of the biggest draws of this new addition, though, was the idea of a new afternoon tea service being available in Disney World since the Garden View Tea Room at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort hasn’t returned since its 2020 closure. When The Cake Bake Shop opened, the tea service wasn’t available just yet, but now we know it’s coming SOON, and we just got a first look!
The Cake Bake Shop’s afternoon tea service is called Roses of Gold Afternoon Tea, and this first look from the restaurant’s Instagram looks absolutely beautiful!

This afternoon tea service will consist of “imported French tea, fantastically fluffy homemade scones, flawless finger sandwiches and the sweetest house-made patisseries.”

The Afternoon Tea service is available Monday–Sunday from 1PM–4PM each day. The best part is that the experience is kid-friendly as well! There are two different menus available — the adult Afternoon Tea menu and the Children’s Afternoon Tea menu.

Afternoon Tea costs $95 plus tax per adult and $65 plus tax for children 12 and under. There is also a Gluten Free Afternoon Tea menu and a Vegetarian & Pescatarian Menu available with the same pricing.

To make a reservation, you’ll need to call The Cake Bake Shop at (407) 574-3040 Ext. 303 or send an email to [email protected]. All Afternoon Tea reservations need a minimum of 48 hours advance notice, so keep that in mind when planning!
