SNEAK PEEK at NEW Characters Coming to Disney’s “it’s a small world” Ride

We don’t know about you, but we’re pretty stoked about all the recent changes at Tokyo Disneyland.

We got to experience the brand-new Fantasy Springs land which truly knocked our socks off — not only that, but Disney announced a new Villains-themed parade coming to the park in October. Oh yeah, and a classic Disney attraction will be getting a Marvel makeover!

Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that Groot will be added to its version of “it’s a small world” to create “it’s a small world with Groot.” The updated attraction will premiere in the winter of 2025 and run for a limited time. It will feature characters from across the Marvel Cinematic Universe but with an “it’s a small world” style. This will be the first time Marvel characters will appear in an attraction at Tokyo Disney Resort.

According to Disney, Groot is going on vacation and visiting his Marvel friends around the world, in the various locations depicted in “it’s a small world.” But, your favorite animatronics will still be there, too! It sounds like Groot is about to have a HUGE adventure and we can’t wait to see more. In the words of the wise tree alien, “I am Groot.”

You’ll be able to catch this version at Tokyo Disneyland from January 15th to June 30th, 2025 in “it’s a small world with Groot.”
