The creators of the “Poohniverse” horror movie saga are at it again. The “Poohniverse” has been created by the studio that brought us the first Winnie the Pooh horror film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.
The “Poohniverse” is a film universe of Disney characters that are now being used in horror movies by Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios. The producers of these films are using characters like Pooh, Tinker Bell, Pinocchio, Bambi, and more to create this “Poohniverse.” Each of these characters is also set to have their own stories told in individual movies not just in the collaborated films, and the first of these has released a new trailer.
Peter Pan’s Neverland Nightmare tells Peter Pan’s story in the creepiest of ways that have our Disney-loving hearts crying. The synopsis of the new movie on IMDb states, “Wendy Darling strikes out in an attempt to rescue her brother Michael from ‘the clutches of the evil Peter Pan.’ Along the way she meets Tinker Bell, who will be seen taking heroin, believing that it’s pixie dust.”
The first trailer of this new horror movie shows clips of Peter Pan terrorizing adults, parents, and children as he collects kids to “send them to Neverland.” It’s a gross depiction of the childhood Disney character we’ve all grown up with.
You can watch the trailer below, but be aware that it is graphic and not appropriate for kids.

This new film will be coming out on October 31st, 2024, and is just the latest work by the two production studios. These films come after popular Disney characters have begun to enter the public domain such as Pooh and Steamboat Willie. Peter Pan by Disney is an adaptation of the early 1900s book Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie. But we can assure you this latest film is far from the original idea of Peter Pan.
Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios have plans to continue the “Poohniverse” and the individual character stories in upcoming horror films. Bambi: The Reckoning and Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble will include many beloved Disney characters in thrillers to be released soon.
