I’m a Disney World local, but going to Disney World is also a big part of my job. I’ve competed in challenges with my friends (I even played a Disney version of Survivor). I’ve tried some interesting foods. I’ve even done a deep dive into the history of Figment. Every day is an adventure!

Speaking of adventures, I am here today to regale you with my tales from Dole Whip Day. I ate entirely Dole Whip…for an entire day. It went just about as you might imagine.
I was invited out to experience some of the best DOLE Whip treats in Disney World for July 18th’s Dole Whip Day. My day started out great, but by the end…well, the effects of an all-sugar diet were catching up with me. But I won’t get ahead of myself. Let’s start at Aloha Isle Refreshments. I ordered a float of Pineapple Dole Whip and Pineapple juice. I figured that the fruit juice in this treat made this one the most appropriate for “breakfast.”

I wanted to keep the fruity cocktail vibes going, so I went to  Sunshine Tree Terrace next. Here, I got the Orange and Strawberry Dole Whip Swirl. So far, I was feeling great and was in good shape.

OK, next stop: Storybook Treats. I ordered something a little different here, and I’m so glad I did. Instead of a classic Disney Dole Whip treat, I went with a Strawberry Dole Whip Root Beer Float. There was something about the root beer that saved me. I needed something slightly spicy and earthy to break up all that citrus and sickly sweet fruit. Both my mood and heart rate were elevated after my stop by Storybook Treats, and I was still feeling pretty good.

After concluding my day in Magic Kingdom, I was off to Disney’s Contemporary Resort. I stopped by Contempo Café for the DOLE Whip Cupcake. This is a yellow cupcake filled with DOLE Whip pineapple mousse and garnished with a cute little cherry.

Luckily, I had some time to recover as I rode the Monorail to my next stop: EPCOT. The DOLE Whip Cherry-Pineapple Swirl from Refreshment Outpost was, aptly, quite refreshing! The cherry and pineapple are such a fun contrast, but be warned! This one is tart.

Hi. I’m in Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Trilo-Bites now. I love the Zazu DOLE Whip Lime and Coconut Float. It’s DOLE Whip Lime swirled into Sprite with coconut and blue curaçao syrup and topped with a white chocolate medallion, and it happens to be the most I’ve ever liked Lime Dole Whip. At this point, I was surprised at how good I still felt. I’ve been on a continuous sugar high all day, and I feel like nothing can stop me now.

My journey ended at Disney Springs. I visited Swirls on the Water and got the DOLE Whip Sampler.

I fear this may have pushed me over the edge. The trio includes DOLE Whip swirled with vanilla soft-serve garnished with a pineapple wedge, DOLE Whip Strawberry swirled with coconut soft-serve topped with strawberry sauce and coconut flakes, and DOLE Whip Mango swirled with DOLE Whip Lime topped with chili-lime seasoning and diced mango. That’s a lot of Dole Whip for a person who’s eaten nothing but Dole Whip thus far.

Was I mentally preparing for the worst, a.k.a. a trip to the hospital? Maybe. Did I survive? Yes. I did it. Would I do it again? Probably not. That concludes my exciting Dole Whip Day adventure. That was a LOT of sugar.
